Thats right guys and girls the Nitro Nostalgia Reunion on December 29 at Taupo Thunder Dragway will be covered by TV3 with 5 camera's on site during the event to film all the action for broadcast at a later date. So shine up those cars and get those back up babe outfits sorted and get yourself and your sponsors a little TV exposure. with a deal still be worked on this may not be the only event at taupo this summer that will be televised either, stay tuned for more details

Just when ya thought we had more than enough Nitro lined up for Summer comes the news that Reece Fish and the Fish Family Racing Top Fuel Dragster will be on the grounds at the Nitro Nostalgia Reunion on Dec 29th and will also be there at the test n tune on the 28th. With a trailer full of new parts Reece is hunting down Garth Hogans NZ Top Fuel marks of 5.52. For those with a love of Nitro that were thinking of coming, start packing now you wont wanna miss this

Major Changes For The Shapes Roadies Drag Racing Team

After a successful 2011-2012 season; winning the New Zealand Top Alcohol championship in the Shapes Roadies Funny Car,  Morice McMillin will return to the track for the 2013 season once again in the Arnott’s Shapes Roadies livery. The big difference is that the team will not be out to defend their New Zealand Championship Title they earned last season. Instead, the team from Hamilton will be joining the crowd favorite; Top Doorslammer division.

To achieve the goal, Morice and his young crew have teamed up with John Neilan Racing to campaign a 1956 Ford Customline powered by a 3000 horsepower TFX Hemi. 

 The team will have plenty of Roadies samples and team posters to give away, so drop in and say “Hi” to the team at an event at Taupo this summer.
